After losing 9 people to untreated mental illness, Cloud 9 Telehealth Founder & CEO, J.C. Adams, was determined to build a system that could improve outcomes for those at risk for mental health issues in underserved communities.
Cloud 9 Telehealth is a digital platform that connects those at-risk with providers, social services, and first responders.
By providing access to the care and resources the vulnerable need, they’re more likely to avoid the being unnecessarily hospitalized or incarcerated. For first-responders, having access to data about the person they’re going to encounter allows them to appropriately prepare for the situation.
The results of Cloud 9’s work are astounding – including a 632% return investment, and a 22% decrease in mental health crises ends in the emergency or jail.
