Fueled by her experience working with children suffering from pneumonia, Elina Naydenova created Feebris, a company that offers AI-powered health monitoring solutions.
Elina knew she had to find a way to help after seeing first hand that pneumonia – and so many other diseases – while treatable, often turn deadly when there’s no little-to-no access to medical care.
With Feebris, home-health workers and community workers can use an app and kit of medical devices to give patients an AI-powered, clinically-reliable exam in just 5-10 minutes.
The devices give immediate feedback – even with no internet access – to the home-health or community-health worker. Care providers use that information to guide next steps, whether that’s a follow up in a few weeks, heading to the emergency room, or another option in between.
The Feebris system captures all the patient data, and can be shared with providers when the home-health or community-health worker gets to an area with internet. By utilizing non-clinical workers in the community, and empowering them with clinically-reliable equipment, it takes the burden off of providers, who are able to be informed about all of their patients while spending time with those at highest-risk.
Feebris started in the UK in 2018, and expanded to the US in 2022.
