Dr. Kristen Matsik says in the last 20 years, there has been an 80% increase in women over 50 – and that women now spend 40% of their lives in menopause.

Despite those startling numbers, menopause is still a subject few talk about, and Dr. Matsik is passionate about opening the lines of communication and ensuring women aren’t needlessly suffering in silence. 

Dr. Matsik is an Assoc. Prof of Obstetrics and Gynecology, MUSC

& is North American MenopauseSociety Certified Menopause Practitioner.
