Dr. Arlen Meyers is the President and CEO of the Society of Physician Entrepreneurs (SOPE), through which he’s fostering what he calls “compassionate capitalism.” 

SOPE was inspired by Dr. Meyers’ own experience creating a diagnostic medical tool. 

In this interview, Dr. Meyers talks about his thoughts on why fostering an entrepreneurial mindset is critical, how doctors can put patients first and also turn a profit, and more. 

Aside from his work with SOPE, Dr. Arlen Meyers is an Emeritus Professor at the University School of Colorado School of Medicine and lecturer at the Business School.
